England FA Community Shield Women

The Women's FA Community Shield was an association football competition in England. It was a national super cup, and the equivalent of the FA Community Shield in male football. It was the first competitive match of the football season. The match was contested between the champions of the FA Women's Premier League (FA Women's Super League in the 2020 edition) and the winners of the Women's FA Cup. When the league champions also won the FA Cup, the cup runners-up played the match.

The first Community Shield was contested in 2000, and lasted for eight years until 2008. In 2020, the competition was briefly revived for one edition and then ceased to exist again.

Anglický FA Community Shield pre ženy je každoročná futbalová súťaž odohrávaná v Anglicku medzi víťazom predchádzajúcej sezóny FA Women's Super League, najvyššej ligy anglického ženského futbalu, a víťazom FA Women's Cupu, ktorý je národným futbalovým pohárom pre ženské tímy v Anglicku.

Prvý zápas sa odohral v roku 2000 ako jednozápasový finálový zápas, ktorý vtedy niesol názov FA Women's Charity Shield. Od roku 2001 sa na ňom zúčastňuje šampión FA Women's Premier League a víťaz FA Women's Cupu a od roku 2011 nesie názov FA Community Shield, zatiaľ čo od roku 2019 ho organizuje Anglická futbalová asociácia.

Zápas sa tradične odohráva na štadióne vo Wembley a predstavuje začiatok novej ženskej futbalovej sezóny v Anglicku.

Najúspešnejším tímom v FA Community Shield pre ženy je Arsenal, ktorý vyhral 5 titulov.
