Club Atlético Villa Teresa, is a Uruguayan football and cycling team club based in Montevideo. It was founded in 1941.

History

In 2011 Villa Teresa achieved promotion from Segunda División Amateur (third level) and returned to the Professional Second Division of Uruguay.

Futbalový tím Villa Teresa je uruguajský profesionálny futbalový klub so sídlom v meste Montevideo. Klub bol založený v roku 1934 a v súčasnosti hrá v Primera División Amateur, tretej najvyššej uruguajskej lige. Domovským štadiónom klubu je Estadio Obdulio Varela s kapacitou 5 200 miest.

Villa Teresa je známa svojim silným útočným štýlom hry a za posledné roky dosiahla niekoľko úspechov. V roku 2016 vyhrala Segunda División Amateur a v roku 2019 skončila na druhom mieste v Primera División Amateur. Tím tiež vyhral niekoľko miestnych pohárových súťaží.

Kľúčovými hráčmi tímu Villa Teresa sú útočníci Gonzalo Barreto a Guillermo Trinidad, ako aj stredopoliar Carlos Díaz. Tím vedie skúsený tréner José Puente, ktorý má dlhú históriu v uruguajskom futbale.

Villa Teresa je považovaná za jeden z najsľubnejších klubov v uruguajskom futbale a má veľkú podporu zo strany svojich fanúšikov. Klub dúfa, že v budúcnosti postúpi do Primera División Uruguaya, najvyššej uruguajskej ligy.
